When considering any type of vein treatment, it is important to make sure that your treating doctor has the expertise and knowledge required to successfully treat leg veins and is familiar with the latest treatments. If veins are not assessed thoroughly, treatment of only the superficial veins can be ineffective if an underlying cause is not also treated.
